American Idol contestant KENDRA CHANTELLE CAMPBELL, 22, of Nashville, Tennessee, has ties to small town Saskatchewan.  Kendra is the daughter of Mavis (Thall) and Nat Campbell of Nashville and granddaughter of Elmer and Bernice Thall, formerly of Canwood and currently of Prince Albert, Sask.  Kendra has many happy memories of time spent in Canada.

Kendra auditioned for American Idol in Nashville last summer and is now one of the remaining 60 performers to sing in this week's episode of Beatle week in Vegas.  Kendra is a self proclaimed R&B soul singer with a deep, beautiful and has been singing since she was a small girl. She comes from a very musical family, her mother Mavis being in the music industry and her father, Nat, being a drummer. They toured Canada & U.S. with their band "Grand Slam" several times during the 80's.  We encourage you to tune in to American Idol and cheer Kendra on.
