Hi, at around 1 pm Thursday Dec.3/09 I was delivering flyers for the Prince Albert Daily Herald. While loading the flyers into my carrying bag I heard a big bang, like a bomb went off. I see smoke in the air behind this one house, so I proceeded to check what had happened, once behind the house a lady comes running out and asks "what happened, our power is out"? I don't know I said. So, I walked a little closer to the power pole and there on the ground was raven with some feathers on the ground and piece of pizza still in his mouth. The raven had his last meal on the power line. SaskPower came there afterwards and repaired the damage.

Great job on the report. I got a little chuckle out of that, no disrespect to the deceased.

The junction box in our yard used to fry 2-3 magpies yearly. Sometimes the power would go off - sometimes not. The amount of grief they gave my cat and dog - it was Karma.
