2014.08.09

642 am - Report of a fight at a residence.  Two intoxicated males were arrested and held until sober.  Investigation ongoing.

 

949 am - Report of a truck stolen from a residence overnight. Investigation ongoing.

 

1100 am - Report of a Break in to a garage at a residence.

 

1109 am - Report of Mischief to a vehicle overnight.  Investigation ongoing.

 

425 pm - Report of a vehicle rummaged through over the previous night.

 

443 pm - Report of a male causing problems at a business. An intoxicated male located and arrested for Causing a Disturbance. Held in custody until sober.

 

517 pm - Report of mischief to a garage at a residence.  Investigation ongoing.

 

657 pm - Report of an intoxicated male in an alley.  A male was arrested and charged for public intoxication.  Held in custody until sober.

 

725 pm - Report of an unknown individual sleeping in an apartment stairwell.  A female was located and arrested for failing to comply with probation conditions - released with a date for future court appearance.

 

732 pm - Report of an intoxicated male causing problems at a residence. A male was arrested for failing to comply with conditions.  Released to appear in court at a later date.

 

827 pm - Intoxicated male located and arrested near a city park. Held in custody until sober.

 

840 pm - Report of 2 missing youth.  Later located/returned to residence safely.

 

909 pm - Report of an alleged assault at a residence.  During investigation a male was arrested for outstanding warrants. Male held in custody to appear in court.

 

1014 pm - Report of stolen fuel at a service station.  Suspect vehicle identified and was found to have been stolen from another area earlier.  Investigation ongoing.

328 am - Report of a possible break in to vehicles at a residence.  Nothing taken - patrols done of the area to locate suspects were negative.

802 am - Report of items stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

 

810 am - Report of a break in to a garage and several vehicles during the previous night. Investigation ongoing.

 

1104 am - Report of shoplifting from a business. Youth arrested and later released with date to appear in court on Theft charges.

 

1235 pm - Report of a theft of fuel from a local gas station.  Investigation ongoing.

 

226 pm - Report of 2 intoxicated males in a city park.  2 males arrested/charged for public intoxication. Held in custody until sober.

 

240 pm - Report of 2 stolen bikes from the backyard of a residence.  Investigation ongoing.

 

255 pm - Report of a stolen truck. Happened sometime over the previous several weeks. Investigation ongoing.

 

419 pm - Report of an individual sleeping outside near a business. A male was

arrested for Public Intoxication - held in custody until sober.

 

552 pm - Report of 3 individuals causing a disturbance in back alley.  One male was arrested for public intoxication and held in custody until sober.

 

634 pm - Report of an intoxicated person in front of a business. A male was arrested for public intoxication - Held in custody until sober.

 

745 pm - Report of a missing youth.  Located a short time later and returned to family.

 

953 pm - Report of a male causing problems at a residence.  Investigation resulted in a male being arrested and charged with failing to comply with Probation conditions.

 

959 pm - Report of a vehicle hitting a post then leaving the scene.  Members located and stopped the vehicle a few blocks away.  Investigation resulted in the male driver being arrested for Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Subject was held until sober and released pending future court appearance.

 

1041 pm - Report of a break in to a residence sometime during the afternoon. Nothing taken.  Investigation ongoing.

 

1124 pm - Report of an intoxicated person behind a local business. A female was arrested/charged for public intoxication. Held in custody until sober then released.

 

1127 pm - Report of a possible impaired driver.  Patrols made for the suspect vehicle - not located.

 

1158 pm - While conducting patrols members conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle.  Driver found to not have a licence and vehicle was not registered.  Driver charged accordingly and vehicle towed/impounded.

156 am - Report of 2 missing youth. Both were located about 12 hrs later safe and sound.

 

223 am - Report of mischief at a residence.  Suspects identified and investigation ongoing.

 

307 am - Report of mischief at a residence.  Investigation ongoing.

1040 am - Report of attempted shoplifting at a business.  Suspects fled and left items behind. Patrols for suspects negative.

 

103 pm - Report of an intoxicated person in a downtown back alley. A male was arrested for Public Intoxication and held in custody until sober.

 

126 pm - Intoxicated male located while members on patrols in the city - male was arrested for public intoxication and for outstanding warrants. Held in custody until sober.

 

116 pm - Report of Fraud.  Investigation ongoing.

 

252 pm - Report of a tire slashed on a vehicle during the previous night while parked on the street.

 

230 pm - Intoxicated female located while members doing patrols in the city - female was arrested and charged for public intoxication.  Held in custody until sober.

 

236 pm - Report of an intoxicated male causing problems at a business. Male suspect had left before members arrived - patrols to locate the male were negative.

 

353 pm - Report of shoplifting from a city business. A male youth was arrested for Theft. The youth suspect was held until being released to a parent with a court date to appear on 1 count of Theft under 5000.00. Investigation ongoing.

 

401 pm - Report of 3 people causing problems on a downtown street.  Patrols resulted in 2 individuals being identified and checked.  Warning issued and individuals were sent on their way.

 

437 pm - Report of a stolen bicycle. Bicycle was returned the following day by the parent of the youth that "borrowed" the bike. Owner of the bicycle did not want to pursue charges.

 

514 pm - Report of theft of some furniture items during the 2 hours previous from the display area in front of a downtown business.  Investigation ongoing.

 

630 pm - Report of an assault.  Investigation resulted in a male being arrested and later released with conditions and a date for future appearance in court.

 

753 pm - Report of an unknown intoxicated female sitting on the front steps of a residence.  Patrols to locate subject were negative.

 

2014.08.08

1211 am - Report of a disturbance at a downtown business.  An intoxicated male was arrested for Causing a Disturbance and held in custody until sober to prevent any further incidents.

 

233 am - Report of a cellular phone being stolen. Investigation ongoing.

 

302 am - Report of an intoxicated female lying on the road.  Female was located/ arrested for public intoxication.  Held in custody until sober.

 

310 am - Report of people causing a disturbance in a residential neighbourhood.  Patrols made were negative.

 

509 am - Report of a Break and Enter in progress at a business.  Investigation ongoing.

La Ronge RCMP

On 2014-08-09 at 02:30 hrs La Ronge RCMP are on scene of a Fatal Pedestrian Collision at Highway 2 in La Ronge.  La Ronge RCMP, North Battleford RCMP Traffic Analyst and the Coroner's Office are continuing the investigation.

The name of the deceased is not being released at this time awaiting NOK's.

La Ronge RCMP are asking anyone with information regarding this Collision to call the RCMP at 425-6730.

RCMP are releasing the name of the deceased.  Gary John JOHNSON, 52 years old of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band.

Police are continuing the investigation and requesting the public's assistance with any information relating to the collision to come forward.  

No further details are being released at this time.

4:20 a.m.

On 2014-08-09 at 02:30 hrs La Ronge RCMP are on scene of a Fatal Pedestrian Collision at Highway 2 in La Ronge.  La Ronge RCMP, North Battleford RCMP Traffic Analyst and the Coroner's Office are continuing the investigation.

Onion Lake RCMP

 

The Onion Lake RCMP are seeking the assistance from the public in finding a missing youth who was reported missing in the early morning hours of August 7, 2014 from a residence on Onion Lake First Nation.

Tirese Kasey OKEYMOW, 15 years old, described as first nations, 5'4", 110 lbs, with brown eyes and long black hair.  ( photo attached)

It is possible that OKEYMOW is in Alberta or Saskatchewan.
