Ile a la Crosse RCMP
Just before 11:00 p.m. on June 12, 2014, Ile a la Crosse RCMP received a call of a lone, distraught 24-year-male seen entering a wooded area within the community with a firearm.
When RCMP members arrived on scene, they heard shots fired in the direction the male had entered the wooded area. The area was contained to ensure public and police safety.
At first light on June 13, 2014, Ile a la Crosse members located the 24-year-old male deceased near where he had entered the wooded area. His death is not considered suspicious.
The deceased male’s name will not be released at this time.
An autopsy was conducted Friday, June 13, 2014, on the human remains located on the Muskowekwan First Nations on Tuesday, June 10, 2014.
The human remains were positively identified through dental records as 32-year-old Fenton Blair Albert from the Muskowekwan First Nations who was reported missing on April 7, 2014 to Punnichy RCMP.
At this time, there is no indication of foul play. The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the Office of the Chief Coroner.
The family has requested that media agencies respect their privacy during this difficult time.
Further to the previous media release, RCMP can confirm that the remains located on the Muskowekwan First Nations, are human.
An autopsy will take place this week to determine cause of death and assist in confirming the identity of the remains. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
On June 10th, 2014, at approximately 5 pm, a resident of the Muskowekwan First Nations located what are believed to be human remains in a wooded area near his property. The Punnichy RCMP were contacted and have secured the scene which is northeast of the village, in order for the investigation to be conducted.
The Office of the Chief Coroner, a Forensic Anthropologist, Yorkton Forensic Identification Section and the RCMP Major Crime Unit South are working to confirm the remains are human and positively identify them.
Further updates will be provided as they become available.
Saskatchewan RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 32-year-old Fenton Blair Albert. The Muskowekwan First Nation man has not been seen for around one month. The last confirmed sighting of Albert was on April 6, 2014 in Regina at the Carmichael Outreach.
Albert is described as 5’8”, 150 pounds, is tall with a slim build and has short black hair. He may be wearing a white or light coloured jacket. RCMP believe Albert may be in or around Regina, Saskatoon, or Fort Qu’Appelle, but is also known to hitchhike.
Anyone with information is asked to contact their nearest RCMP detachment or police service. Muskowekwan First Nation is approximately 200 kilometers southeast of Saskatoon.
North Battleford RCMP

Justin Cruz FINEDAY, 26, was sentenced to eleven years for injuring two males with a firearm during two separate shooting occurrences in North Battleford in May and September of 2013. The sentence was handed down in North Battleford Provincial Court on Thursday June 12th, 2014.
The first incident occurred on the morning of May 25th, 2013 on the 1700 block of 104th Street, when a male standing outside a residence was fired upon by a suspect in a motor vehicle. The male victim received several injuries for which he has since recovered. The second incident stems from an incident which occurred shortly before 7 am on the 1st of September, where a male was shot outside a residence on St Laurent Drive.
Lanigan RCMP are currently investigating a theft of farm chemicals. Sometime between 10:30 am and 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 12th, 2014 unknown suspects stole several cases of Odyssey DLX herbicide from a farm yard at NE 18 - 35 - 23 near Burr. The approximate value of the stolen chemicals was $4000.

Prince Albert RCMP
The injured 27-year-old male from Prince Albert died on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at hospital in Saskatoon. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
On May 27, 2014, shortly before 3:00 a.m., Prince Albert RCMP received a complaint of break and enter that was in progress at the North Bay Trailer Court, north of Prince Albert. The caller indicated that three adult males had broken into the home and threatened the residents with bear spray and other weapons. Members arrived at the scene and found an injured adult male inside the residence. The injured adult male is not a resident of the home where the incident occurred. The injured adult male was transported to hospital in Prince Albert and then by STARS to hospital in Saskatoon.
The investigation is ongoing.

Over 25 calls for service/occurrences reported, including 2 false/nuisance 911 calls, 2 matters related to civil disagreements relating to property, 2 calls relating to assistance with child custody matters, 1 Municipal Bylaw/Noise Complaint.
737 am - Two intoxicated and unwanted persons at a residence on Kramer Place. Matter attended to and parties separated.
919 am - Missing Person reported from a group home in the city. Brianna TAWIYAKA, 14, is originally from the Standing Buffalo First Nation near Regina and may be attempting to return. She has shorter hair in the front, longer in the back, black in colour, she is about 5'2", 100 lbs, and slender.
942 am - Break and enter to a business on Railway Avenue South some time during the early morning hours. Unknown if anything taken.
245 pm - Residential break and enter on 103rd Street, television reported missing. Occurred some time in late evening of June 11th.
309 pm - Two vehicle collision at intersection of Territorial Drive and Clements. No injuries reported, both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from scene. Cause of collision still under investigation.
640 pm - Complaint of violation of a no-contact order through internet.
643 pm - Report of several youth climbing a building on 100th Street. All subjects gone upon police arrival.
803 pm - Report of an assault in progress on Territorial Drive North. Suspect witnessed assaulting/yelling at person in a parking lot. Investigation ongoing.
958 pm - Two vehicle collision on Highway 16 Bypass. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from scene. Both driver's were transported to hospital with non life threatening injuries. Alcohol is suspected to have been a factor in the collision and charges are currently pending on the 30 year old driver of one of the two vehicles.
1057 pm - Report of suspicious persons near a school on 96th Street.
1244 am - White 2001 Chevrolet Venture with Saskatchewan License 462ITY stolen from 1500 block of 103rd Street.
123 am - 911 call of a domestic dispute on Panton Avenue. A 26 year old woman arrested and charged with one count of Assault, she has since been released and is to make her first appearance in North Battleford Court on June 19th at 9 am.
Update to previous Daily Report:
1102 am - Two 14 year old youths reported missing from a youth group home. One returned on her own later in the afternoon. As of this morning 14 year old male remains missing, Kyren Chad CAISSE is originally from Prince Albert, last seen wearing red jacket, black touque, black shoes with a red sole. He is about 5'4" tall, with a thin build.
Kyren CAISSE remains missing. It is believed he is likely in the Prince Albert area. A recent photo is attached of subject, though his hair is reported to now be shorter.
700 pm - Report of a 14 year old female missing. Serita LONESINGER last seen on 15th avenue at about 4 pm, was wearing brown pants, black sleeveless shirt, and was carrying a large white hand bag. Her hair was tied back and is blonde and light brown in colour. Several residences were checked overnight without success.
Serita LONESINGER's whereabout have also yet to be confirmed. She is believed to still be somewhere in the city of North Battleford or surrounding area.
