Cooke Municipal Golf Course could not have asked for a better day to start the 2014 season in Prince Albert.

As the links at Cooke officially opened on Friday afternoon, the first group of golfers teed off while they enjoyed outstanding weather conditions of about 16 C with lots of sunshine.

Cooke's head professional Darcy Myers said the course got through the winter "very well" as the driving range and all 18 holes are now ready to go with full power cart access.

Golfers interested in booking tee times may do so by calling 306-763-2502 or online at cookegolf.ca.
