Business Break and Enter and Theft

 

The Lloydminster Municipal RCMP is asking the assistance of the public in identifying the individual(s) responsible for an early morning break & enter and theft from David's Steak House in Lloydminster, Alberta.

 

The incident occurred in the early morning hours of May third.  The individual(s) entered the establishment, by possibly hiding inside after closing, and using various contractor tools; which were on site; to cut  and pry open the two standing ATM'S in the bar area. They stole approximately $1700.00 in cash and caused significant damage to both machines.

Swift Current RCMP

The Swift Current Municipal RCMP is releasing the attached composite sketch of a person of interest related to the May 1, 2014 attempted child abduction.

On May 1, 2014 at approximately 7:15 PM the Swift Current Municipal RCMP received a call of a possible attempted child abduction. The caller stated that an 8 year old female was walking home on the south side of Swift Current when a red Econoline style van pulled up beside her. An unknown adult male passenger opened the door and told the female to get in the van. The girl ran from the male and he chased her for a short distance. The driver of the van was also an unknown male.

 

The male passenger is described as follows:

 

- Approximate age of 30 years old

- Caucasian

- Acne on face

- Wearing a dark coloured hoodie

 

The suspect van is described as follows:

 

- Older model Econoline style van

- Red in colour

- Silver spoke-style hubcaps

- No licence plate number available

 

The Swift Current RCMP, with the assistance of Police Dog Services, conducted patrols for the suspect vehicle, however it was not located. The matter is still under investigation.

Battlefords RCMP

2014-05-06

 

On May 1, 2014, the Battlefords RCMP Provincial and Municipal General Investigative Sections arrested 39 year old Ian Dusty Gopher of Battleford, Saskatchewan for Trafficking of a Controlled Substance. Subsequent searches and the execution of a search warrant at Gopher's residence resulted in seizures of approximately 8 grams of cocaine, cash and other drug paraphernalia.  Gopher has been charged with Trafficking of Cocaine as well as other related drug and proceeds of crime offences. Mr. Gopher appeared in court on May 5, 2014 and was released from custody to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on May 20, 2014 at 9:30 am.

653 am - Two vehicle collision on Territorial Drive North.  Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from scene.  A 45 year old man has been charged with Proceeding from a Stop Sign before safe.  No injuries were reported.

 

708 am - Two storage sheds on  2200 block of Douglas Avenue broken into during the night.  Three other complaints of storage sheds on Douglas reported throughout the morning.

 

755 am - Break and Enter to a garage on 105th Street during the night.  Does not appear anything was damaged or taken.

 

759 am - Report of male witnessed checking door handles to vehicles on 103rd Street.  Suspect located.  Investigation ongoing.

 

927 am - Theft of a cell phone and tablet from a residence on 110th street.  Suspect known to complainant.

 

956 am - Report of four vehicles with their windows damaged overnight while parked on 1100 block of 99th Street.

 

1100 am - Vehicle appears to have been keyed while parked in a parking lot off Carlton Trail.

 

1132 am - Vehicle parked on 98th Street overnight broken into, cell phone can cash reported missing.

 

1231 pm - Pad locks off a storage shed cut off, nothing appears to have been taken.

 

1234 pm - Gas theft from a business on Highway 16.  Suspect vehicle described as a red Hyundai Genesis.  Suspect vehicle and driver later identified, and matter still under investigation.

 

136 pm - Window to vehicle parked on 1400 block of 106th Street damage during night.

 

314 pm - Complainant reporting ongoing harassment by an acquaintance.  Investigation ongoing.

 

345 pm - 32 year old male arrested for Public Intoxication on 100th Street.

 

438 pm - Theft of gas from a business on Railway Avenue East.  Suspect vehicle described as a silver Chevrolet half ton.

 

452 pm - Garage broken into during previous evening on 1400 block of 103rd.  Tools and bike among items reported missing.

 

540 pm - 39 year old woman arrested after complaint of intoxication person no longer wanted at a residence on 19th Avenue.

 

546 pm - Report of a male in a yellow four door car driving in area of Centennial Crescent possibly in possession of a firearm.  Vehicle matching description stopped and searched in area with negative results.  Investigation ongoing.

 

626 pm - 45 year old male arrested for public intoxication on 101st Street.

 

658 pm - Vehicle window on 104th Street damaged.  Heard car alarm at 5 am but just noticed damage at time of complaint.

 

749 pm - Complaint of harassment involving person who were in a previous relationship.  Investigation ongoing.

 

910 pm - 29 year old woman arrested and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm after report of a woman suffering from a broken arm as the result of an assault approximately six hours earlier.

 

926 pm - Report of several intoxicated people yelling and causing a disturbance on 99th Street.  Members located three suspects near the area.  Three men ages 56, 44 and 48 arrested and all facing charges under the Alcohol and Gaming Regulations Act.

 

958 pm - North Battleford RCMP are investigating a complaint of an Armed Robbery which occurred at a business on the 2000 block of 100th Street shortly before 10 pm on Monday May 5th.  The suspect produced a knife and demanded cash.  He fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money on foot.  No employees/customers were injured during the altercation.  Find attached three photos of the male suspect in this matter, and the investigation is ongoing.  If anyone has any information on this matter they are asked to contact the North Battleford RCMP detachment at 306-446-1720 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-454-1212.
