Paramedics respond to a slew of assaults

By 1 p.m. on Sunday, Parkland Ambulance paramedics had responded to 57 incidents, of which the following were included in a press release.

 

Ambulance

• An assault in the 1600 block of 15th Street West was responded to at about 4 a.m. on Saturday. Paramedics cared for a 17-year-old boy with minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

• An 10 a.m. assault on Saturday had paramedics out about 18 kilometres north of the city on Highway 2. Paramedics cared for one person with minor injuries who was taken to hospital.

• A 2:30 a.m. assault in the 3200 block of Second Avenue West had paramedics care for a 40-year-old man for minor injuries on Sunday. He was taken to hospital.

• A 5:45 p.m. assault in the 1500 block of 1500 block of 13th Street West resulted in paramedics caring for a 26-year-old man with minor injuries, who was taken to hospital on Saturday.

• A 38-year-old woman was treated for injuries as a result of a 4:45 p.m. assault on Saturday in the 1600 block of 17th Street West. The woman was taken by ambulance to hospital in good condition.

• An assault in the 600 block of 28th Street West had paramedics out at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday. Paramedics cared for a 27-year-old man with injuries, who was taken to hospital in good condition.
