Prince Albert RCMP


1:53 p.m.

On Friday, March 28, 2014, Prince Albert RCMP executed a search warrant at a rural residence located east of Prince Albert. An estimated $75,000.00 worth of stolen property was recovered during the search. Recovered were two snowmobiles and protective equipment, one ATV, a large number of power tools and vehicle parts, multiple firearms and a prohibited weapon (crossbow).


Two 19-year-old males from the Prince Albert area were arrested on scene and have been charged with:


1) numerous counts of possession of stolen property, Section 354 of the Criminal Code

2) 3 counts per person for careless use of a firearm, Section 86 of the Criminal Code


Both males will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. The matter is still under investigation, and further criminal charges may be laid. Updates will be released as they become available.


White Butte RCMP


14:25 p.m.


The collision scene has now been cleared and Highway # 1 is now open to eastbound traffic.



9:50 a.m.


Members continue to investigate the collision and will be assisted by one of the Division's Collision Analysts.  The collision involved a white Ford Taurus, which was occupied by a lone female occupant and a grey BMW Z4, which was occupied by a lone male occupant.   Both drivers have been transport to hospital with undetermined injuries.  The driver of the Ford Taurus was transported by STARS Ambulance.


East Bound traffic continues to be diverted.  Please expect delays for the next couple of hours.



Humboldt-Lanigan RCMP

2014 MARCH 31 - 2014 APRIL 1

On 2014-03-31 at approximately 6:10 PM Humboldt Lanigan RCMP and Lanigan Fire Department responded to a complaint of a  fire at a Big Sky Farms Pig Barn north west of Lanigan.  When emergency services arrived smoke was coming out of the eves of the building however the fire became fully involved very shortly.  At the time of the fire the barn housed approximately 4500 young pigs.  All of the animals perished in the fire.  No person was injured as a result of this fire.   The cause of the fire is still under investigation.



North Battleford RCMP

2014 MARCH 31 - 2014 APRIL 1

Approximately 30 calls for service in the City of North Battleford for the period of March 31, 2014 at 0600 hrs to April 1, 2014 at 0600 hrs.


March 31, 2014


0637 hrs  -  Report of a male who called 911 in search of his spouse.  Was educated on the proper usage of the 911 system.  Concluded.


0723 hrs  -  Report of a break and enter on 106th Street in North Battleford.   A male youth broke into Lambs Door Service , was confronted by employees and fled.  Was located by employees and held until the arrival of the Police.  Young male charged and compelled to court.  Still under investigation.


0846 hrs -  Report of Theft from a motor vehicle on Kildeer Drive.  GPS missing from a vehicle.  No damage to vehicle and nothing further missing.  Still under investigation.


0859 hrs  -  Report of a Threatening Phone Calls made to 911.  Police involved.  No threats made.  Parties simply arguing over marital breakdown.  No further action.


0949 hrs  -  Report of a missing children.  Investigation revealed that parents could not reach children by phone.  Determined telephone was not working.  Children at school and are fine.  Concluded.


1220 hrs  -  Report of a motor vehicle accident on Territorial Drive at 100th Street.  Still under investigation.


1321 hrs  -  Report of a call to 911.  Appears that the caller received a message from the Local Detachment, and misunderstood the contents of the message, so called 911.  Concluded.


1454 hrs  -  Report of a vehicle stop on 13th Avenue at 110 Street.  Driver operating vehicle without registration.  Charged.  Still under investigation.


1455 hrs  -  Report of a male in a blue van bearing Quebec plates selling stereo equipment from the back of the van.  Caller believes this to be suspicious.  Members dispatched.  Still under investigation.


1521 hrs  -  Report from a concerned driver stating that a female was texting and driving and all over the road.  Children in the back seat.  Caller concerned for the welll being of the occupants of the vehicle. Members dispatched.  Still under investigation.


1548 hrs  -  Report of an intoxicated and beligerent male yelling on 100 Street.  Not located on initial patrol but similar call to the Keg Room, where subject located, arrested and held until sober


1611  hrs  -  Report of intoxicated male at the Keg Room causing trouble.  Members dispatched and male located.  Still under investigation.


1619 hrs  -  Report received pertaining to a Child Welfare concern. Members dispatched.  Still under investigation.


1634 hrs  -  Report of a 911 hang up call from the payphone at Foodland.   Patrol made.  Unfounded.


1658 hrs  -  Report of an alarm at Envirosafe Chemicals.  Patrols made.  Alarm deemed to be false.


1750 hrs  -  Report of an intoxicated male at a residence.  Patrols made.  Male deemed to be a visitor to the residence.  Concluded.


1824 hrs  -  Report of an intoxicated male at a residence being beligerent.  Occupants of the residence want male removed.  Membes attend and remove residence.  Concluded.


1833 hrs  -  Report of a missing youth from the Comp High School.  Members dispatched.  Still udner investigation.


1954 hrs -  Report of an intoxicated male at a residence on St Laurent Drive.  Members attend to determine male not intoxicated, but was arrested on outstanding warrants.


2055 hrs  -  Report of suspicious male in a blue Dodge Charger with no license plates on Ross Crescent.  Patrols made.  Vehicle or persons not located.


2132 hrs  -  Report of mischief to a vehicle n 104th Street.  Members attend.  Still under investigation.


2223 hrs  -  Members attend apartment on 110 Street to keep the peace as landlord evicting a tenant.   All transpired without incident.  Concluded.


2321 hrs  -  Report of intoxicated persons in residence at Trudeau Street.  Patrol made.  All good.


2352 hrs  -  Report of suspicious persons at 16th Avenue and 104th Street.  Patrols made.  Persons not located.  Concluded.


April 1, 2014


0032 hrs  -  Report of erratic driver on Douglas Avenue.  Immediate patrols made.  No vehicles located.  All quiet.  Concluded.


0055 hrs  -  911 call from an upset male.  Call disconnected.  Members still investigating.


0103 hrs  -  Report of an intoxicated female attempting to force her way into a residence on 110 Street.  did not gain entry.  Left of foot.  Members attend to locate and return her to her residence.


0130 hrs  -  Report of a number of intoxicated males hanging around 711. Patrol made and males had left.  Concluded.


0150 hrs  -  Members attend a residence on 104 Street to conduct a welfare check on occupant.  All ok.


0231 hrs  -  Report of an intoxicated female causing problems in a residence on 110 Street.  Patrols made.  Still under investigation.




White Butte RCMP


9:10 a.m.


Members of the White Butte Detachment are currently at the scene of a 2 vehicle collision, located at the intersection of Highway #1 and Great Plains Road, near Emerald Park, SK.  Members are being assisted by Local Fire and Ambulance, as well as STARS Ambulance.  At this time little information is known with regards to circumstances or injuries.  East Bound traffic is being diverted off the highway using the off ramp at Great Plains Road.
