Maidstone RCMP has still not been able to locate Russell Conlon who was reported missing on February 28, 2014.  There has been indication that he may be in Manitoba and possibly around the Steinbach area.

 

Anyone with information on Conlon's whereabouts is asked to contact the Maidstone RCMP at  306-893-4800, or 306-310-RCMP or your local Police Service.

Pelican Narrows RCMP

Update:

An autopsy was completed this morning. It was determined that the death of 21 year old Kieffer Braeden Linklater of Pelican Narrows, Sask., was as a result of hypothermia and as such, his death is non-suspicious. Investigation revealed that prior to his death, he had been at a social gathering inside a residence located in the community of Pelican Narrows.

Further to the last release, RCMP can provide the following updated information relating to the death of 27 year old Shauna Maureen WELCH of Moose Jaw, Sk.  Results from the autopsy have confirmed that the death of WELCH was not from natural causes and was a homicide.

 

No further details can be released at this time and the investigation into this matter is ongoing.

Yorkton RCMP

 

In the early morning hours of March 16, 2014 a traffic stop was conducted to do a sobriety check of the driver of a white SUV.  The investigator could smell cannabis marihuana when the driver opened the window of the car.  The driver was arrested for possession of marihuana.  RCMP did subsequent search of the driver and his vehicle and in excess of $2000.00 cash was found on the driver,  and six pounds of cannabis marihuana was located in the vehicle.  The 32 year old Regina male will be in Yorkton Provincial court on March 17, 2014 to face charges of possession of cannabis marihuana for the purposes of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime.
