Yorkton RCMP


3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.


RCMP in Yorkton had a report of Suspicious activity.  During the above date and time a White SUV stopped to speak with an 8 year old boy.  The SUV had a Caucasian male driver and a Caucasian female passenger.  RCMP are asking for the public assistance in identifying the VEH and occupants.  RCMP are continuing to investigate.


North Battleford RCMP

Over 30 calls for service/occurrences reported. 1 Alarms responded to, found to be false. 1 false/nuisance 911 call.



609am - Complaint of an intoxicated male at a business on 101st Street demanding that the business open their restaurant. The business did not have a restaurant. Members attended and the male had already left.


628am - Report of intoxicated male passed out on the steps of a residence on 108th Street. Male arrested and lodged for sobering.


848am - Noise complaint from apartment on 103rd Street. Members attended and noise had quieted down.


930am - Report of a black 2003 Chev Trailblazer taken without owner's permission. Still under investigation.


1022am - Complaint through 911 of youth swearing at his grandmother. Youth had left prior to police arrival.


1050am - Complaint of male breaching family court order not to be at a residence. A 44 year old male arrested and later released without charges.


1241pm - Multiple complaints of a domestic assault on 105th Street. A 39 year old male was arrested and charges are pending.


316pm - Report of intoxicated male yelling on 103rd Street. Male left the area before police arrived.


417pm - 911 call reporting lost wallet two nights ago.


626pm - Report of intoxicated male banging on doors to an apartment building on Winder Crescent and refusing to leave.  28 year old male was located several blocks away by police and arrested for Public Intoxication.


540pm - Report of a gas and dash from a business on Railway Avenue. Suspect vehicle is a white GMC Sierra 3/4 ton truck. Investigation ongoing.


610pm - A 24 year old male arrested on warrants and a new charge of obstruction on 105th Street. He will be appearing in court on March 17.


653pm - Report of three intoxicated males in lobby of business on 101st Street. All arrested and charges under the Alcohol and Gaming Regulations Act are pending.


809pm - Complaint of intoxicated male trying to pick fights in the trailer park. A 23 year old male was arrested and lodged for sobering.


1054pm - 911 call reporting male was assaulted at a residence on 102nd Street. No signs of assault. Charge pending under the 911 Act.



120am - Report of a yellow 2006 Ford F350 pilot truck stolen from the parking lot of a business on the Highway 16 Bypass. Investigation ongoing.


206am - Report of a vehicle that hit a fire hydrant on St. Laurent Drive. The 26 year old male driver was arrested and is facing impaired driving related charges.




Pelican Narrows RCMP

RCMP Pelican Narrows - Suspicious Sudden Death


At approximately 4:50 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014, Pelican Narrows RCMP received a report of a missing person 21-year-old male from the community of Pelican Narrows.  The 21-year-old male hadn't been seen since March 11, 2014 and was reported missing by a family member.


Shortly after receiving the missing person complaint, Pelican Narrows RCMP members received a complaint of a body located a short distance into the bush just outside of the community of Pelican Narrows.  Members attended to the scene and located the body of a deceased male.  Members immediately secured the scene and contacted the Coroner's Office.


Investigators consider this sudden death suspicious in nature.  Assisting Pelican Narrows RCMP with the investigation are the Coroner's Officer and the RCMP Major Crimes Unit - North.  An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.  Investigators have identified the deceased and the family has been notified.  The RCMP has not been given permission to release the name of the deceased.


As this investigation is in the preliminary stages, further information will be released as it becomes available.

611am - Noisy Party complaint on 105th Street.  Members attended and had the subject quiet down.


1133am - Fraud complaint involving possibly fraudulent bank transactions.  Investigation ongoing.


1137am - Gas Theft at a business on Railway Avenue East.  Possible suspect identified.  Investigation ongoing.


1231pm - Harassment complaint made.  Suspect warned about behaviour.  No charges pursued on this occasion.


1235pm - 45 year old male arrested from Public Intoxication and outstanding warrants out of Lloydminster on 101st Street.


255pm - 14 year old youth arrested and facing one charge of Failing to Comply with Probation Order, threatening staff at youth facility.


353pm - Complaint of two persons fighting in an alley off 100th Street.  All parties gone prior to police arrival.


534pm - 911 call of a male smashing windows at a residence on 114th Street.  Suspect was located and arrested.  Suspect known to residents of the home, at this time police receiving limited cooperation from victims of property damage.


614pm - 911 call of unwanted, intoxicated person at a residence on 108th Street.  Suspect left when police called and not located.


626pm - Report of intoxicated male banging on doors to an apartment building on Winder Crescent and refusing to leave.  28 year old male was located several blocks away by police and arrested for Public Intoxication.


835pm - 911 call of a vehicle having followed complainant for several miles coming into city and flashing headlights continuously.  Suspect vehicle not located.  Investigation ongoing.


908pm - Report of a possible single gun shot heard on 800 block of 110th Street.  No other reports of gun shots made.  Initial investigation could not confirm or disprove report.


1054pm - Report of an emotionally disturbed person from Saskatoon threatening to harm numerous people, claimed to be in possession of firearms and threatened to shoot police.  Suspect located and arrested shortly before midnight without incident.  No weapons located on individual.  Investigation ongoing.


1127pm - 55 year old male arrested on outstanding warrants from Lloydminster, located on 107th Street.



1257am - Report of a white 2002 GMC Sierra stolen from the parking lot of a business on Railway Avenue East. Investigation ongoing.


142am - Complaint of noisy party on 109th Street. Members attended and warning issued.


155am - Report of a hit and run in a parking lot in the 1700 block of 100th Street. Suspect vehicle described as a white Chev Impala. Investigation ongoing.


233am - Complaint of an intoxicated male at a business on Railway Avenue East refusing to pay his tab. The 25 year old male was arrested and will be appearing in court on March 17 on charges including failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking as well as a probation order.


247am - Complaint of an intoxicated male running around with no shoes in a soccer field. A 19 year male was arrested for an outstanding warrant as well as for failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking. He will also be appearing in court on March 17.


536am - Multiple calls of disturbances at an apartment building in the 1400 block of 102nd Street. Members located an intoxicated male who was found to be on conditions of a probation order to abstain from alcohol. Charges pending.
