Stanley Mission RCMP

10:00 p.m.

On February 8th, 2014 at approximately 10:20 a.m. the Stanley Mission RCMP responded to a report of a recovered body from Otter Lake, near Grandmother’s Bay, Saskatchewan.  RCMP are able to confirm that local volunteers located the missing snowmobiler identified as Solomon Roberts, age 66, from Grandmother’s Bay.

The Stanley Mission RCMP and the Coroner’s Officer are still continuing their investigation, no foul play is suspected. Victim services are assisting the victim’s family.

North Battleford RCMP 

2014.02.07 6am - 2014.02.08 6am   2014.02.08 930am Just under 20 calls for service/occurrences reported.  2 Alarms responded to, both found to be false. 2 false/nuisance 911 calls.   2014.02.07 810am - Report of possible break and enter in the trailer park. No entry appears to have been gained.   837am - Report of a domestic where the boyfriend sprayed water on his girlfriend after she put on her makeup. No charges.   436m - Missing person reported, Corbin Frenchman, 17 years old, last seen after being dropped of at Sakewew High School on Monday, February 3. Approximately 5'6" tall, medium build, short black hair and glasses. Last seen wearing blue jeans, black runners, red hoody, green and grey t shirt, a black coat and a yellow touque.   703pm - Complaint of an intoxicated and unwanted person at a residence. Unwanted person left after police were called.   1123pm - Complaint of neighbour playing loud music. Warning given.   2014.02.08 1210am - Report of an attempted break and enter on 105th Street. Still under investigation.   1257am - Traffic stop led to seizure of small amount of marihuana.   258am - Report of two vehicle collision in the trailer park. Still under investigation.   307am - Intoxicated male located on 110th Street and arrested for sobering.   0544am - Complaint of intoxicated male in a vehicle causing problems and refusing to get out. Same arrested and charge pending.

RCMP and Prince Albert Police Service

16:00hrs

On February 4, 2014, members of the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team were conducting a drug investigation in the City of Prince Albert. As a result of the investigation, a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant was executed on residence in the whispering pines trailer park, located just north of the City of Prince Albert. 4 adults were arrested during the investigation without incident. During the investigation Police seized 45.1 grams of powder cocaine, 48 syringes loaded with cocaine and several items of merchandise that has been confirmed as stolen. 

Wayne Allan Nelson, age 20, of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of stolen property. Nelson will be making his next court appearance on February 18, 2014 in Prince Albert Provincial Court. 

Erin Davidson, age 19, of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of stolen property. Davidson will be making her next court appearance on February 18, 2014 in Prince Albert Provincial Court.

Wayne Robert Nelson, age 21, of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of stolen property. Nelson will be making his next court appearance on February 18, 2014 in Prince Albert Provincial Court.

Melissa Ballantyne, age 32, of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan has been charged with possession  of cocaine. Ballantyne will be making her next court appearance on February 18, 2014 in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
