North Battleford RCMP




Sometime between 10 pm on January 23, 2014 and 7 am on January 24, 2014 unknown suspect(s) broke into Big Lou's Restaurant located on Main Street in Humboldt. Suspect(s) made off with a First Alert Digital safe, an Acer Laptop and cash.  Anyone with any information about this crime is asked to call the Humboldt RCMP at (306) 682-2535 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).


North Battleford RCMP

under 20 calls for service/occurrences reported.  3 alarms responded to.



330pm - Recovered stolen snowmobile for other location.  Investigation ongoing.


414pm - 14 year old reported missing from 110th Street.  Located later in day.


730pm - Report of a male at a home on 103rd Street causing damage.  36 year old located on scene arrested for mischief.  No charges pursued as per wishes of complainant.


805pm - 14 year old reported missing from 97th Street.  Turned out simply at another family members residence.  Cleared up quickly.


1137pm - 911 call to a residence on 108th Street.  Report of an assault in progress.  45 year old male arrested and now facing charges of Assault X 3, Resisting Arrest, and Causing an Animal unnecessary suffering after kicking a dog in anger in front of the police responding to call.  Held in custody and appeared on January 22nd at 930am.


Warman RCMP

07:38 a.m.

Warman Detachment responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 11 and Wanuskewin Road.  A southwest bound passenger car struck a pick up truck that was attempting to cross the highway.  Each vehicle had a sole occupant, and only the driver of the truck was transported by EMS for minor injuries.  RCMP were assisted by Warman Fire Department and MD Ambulance.

The exact cause of the accident will be investigated first before any charges are considered.

All emergency vehicles have cleared the scene, and the highway is open.


Southend RCMP

12:10 p.m.

During the early morning hours of January 23, 2014 members of the Southend RCMP Detachment were awakened by a neighbour who was pounding on the door of their residence. The local man informed the two members that a police truck parked between two of the RCMP houses was on fire.

RCMP members and two local men were able to put the fire out using fire extinguishers and by shoveling snow onto the truck. This prevented any damage to either of the RCMP homes.  No one was injured during the incident however the vehicle was a total loss.

The cause of the fire appears to be electrical, and there are no indications of any foul play.


Moose Jaw RCMP


10:30 hrs

Members of the Moose Jaw Detachment, EMS, Caronport Fire, and the Coroners office are currently on scene of a fatal single vehicle collision 12 kms West of Moose Jaw on #1 hwy.  The collision occurred at approximately 6:50 am this morning.  One female occupant has been pronounced dead at the scene.  The vehicle she was operating was observed travelling Eastbound, when it left the road and rolled into the centre median.

RCMP Forensic Traffic Investigator is on scene, and traffic is slowed to one lane in each direction   Motorists are reminded to slow, and use caution when passing the location.

Road conditions at the time are believed to have been a contributing factor in the collision.

The name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of next of kin.



Warman RCMP


Warman RCMP, fire and EMS are on the scene of a multiple vehicle collision on highway 11 south of the Warman south access.  Both lanes of southbound traffic are closed and traffic is being diverted west on Township Rd. 384, and then south on Range Rd. 3052.

It is expected that traffic will be closed for several hours.

More information will be released when it is known.



Warman RCMP

At approximately 12:00 p.m. Warman RCMP were at the scene of a single vehicle collision where a vehicle was being towed from the centre ditch on highway 11, south of Warman.  Traffic was being diverted into 1 lane while police were on scene and being assisted by a tow truck.  While traffic was proceeding southbound past the scene of the first collision a Silver Cobalt rear-ended a burgundy Oldsmobile Alero.

The adult male operating the Alero, and two teen-aged females in the Cobalt were all injured and transported by ambulance to hospital.  The extent of their injuries is still undetermined.  There were no other persons or vehicles involved.


Warman RCMP

Highway 11, southbound lanes remain closed while the investigation continues.  Traffic is being diverted west at the Warman south access, and then south on Range Rd. 3052.  Northbound traffic is not affected.

Highway 11, southbound lanes have now been re-opened for travel.
