North Battleford RCMP
Three persons have been charged in connection with the noted incident. A 17 year old year old male is facing charges of Aggravated Assault, Uttering Threats and Failing to Comply with Youth Probation X 2. He was arrested earlier in the week and has been remanded into custody after making a first appearance and will return to court on February 5th at 930am. A 16 year old female youth was arrested on Friday January 10th and has been charged with one count of Aggravated Assault. She has been released on conditions until her first appearance on January 23rd. Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Julianne Lacey NECROCHE, 20, wanted on one count of Aggravated Assault. She remains at large.
The victim remains in hospital and his condition has remained about the same since he was taken into care on the 14th of November. The investigation is ongoing.
Members were called to a residence on the 1000 block of 110th Street shortly before 9 pm on November 13th after being advised by Ambulance they were attending the scene in response to a male who had been assaulted. The 26 year old resident of the home was found unconscious and was transported to Battleford Union Hospital for treatment. He is scheduled to be transported to Saskatoon for additional treatment in the near future. The victim remains unconscious and members have not yet been able to speak to him. Several witnesses have been interviewed and the investigation is continuing.
On Thursday, January 16, 2014, at 1130 a.m. Kindersley RCMP received a complaint at the front counter of the Kindersley Detachment that an assault with a weapon had taken place at a residence in Brock, Saskatchewan earlier in the day.
Two members from the Kindersley Detachment were dispatched to the residence in Brock. When they arrived on the scene they located the adult male believed to be responsible for the assault. During the arrest of the adult male, a RCMP member (male member) from the Kindersley Detachment was injured. The member was treated and release from Kindersley Hospital. The member remains on duty.
Cory Jeffrey, a 19-year-old male from Brock, Saskatchewan has been charged with:
- Assault with a weapon causing bodily harm
- Assault Police Officer with intent to resist
- Assault Police Officer
- Breach of Probation
Cory Jeffrey has been remanded for court in Kindersley on January 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.

Approximately 20 calls for service/occurrences reported. 3 Alarms responded to. 2 false/nuisance 911 call. Several erratic/dangerous driving complaints.
915am - Report of threats being made towards complainant to have person(s) assault them. Issue surrounding a breakup between complainant and suspect.
1126am - Vehicle parked on Kramer Place damage, steering column tampered with.
256pm - Report of harassing phone calls and text messages. Investigation ongoing.
515pm - Hit and run reported on 15th Avenue. Vehicle reported to have been side-swiped by another vehicle which failed to remain at scene. Complainant not injured but there is damage to vehicle. Possible suspect vehicle identified, investigation ongoing.
622pm - 21 year old male arrested on outstanding warrants for Assault on 101st Street by patrolling members.
1227am - Suspicious male yelling outside on 110th Street. Unknown direction of travel. Patrols negative.
357am - 911 call of a break in enter to a residence on the 900 block of 110th Street. Members arrived on scene, suspect had fle. It was learned the suspect had earlier been at the residence drinking and left after being asked to leave. A short time later he returned, forced his way into the residence and is alleged to have struck the occupant with a broom handle. Members later located the suspect on 11th Avenue and he was arrested without incident. 30 year old male remains in custody, charges of Assault with a Weapon and Break and Enter are still pending.
