8:30 a.m.

On Monday, December 30, 2013 at 9:30 p.m., a lone male entered a business at Regina Beach. The male pretended to be a maintenance employee responding to a call for service. The male had some knowledge supporting his claim. He was provided unsupervised access to the main office for a short period of time, where he took an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.

The male is believed to drive a 1995 or 1996 White Ford Contour GL with a spoiler on the trunk. The first digit of the Saskatchewan licence plate begins with an 8. The car was very noisy with a belt squealing very loudly.

The male is described as Caucasian,  5'8"-5’11”, 180-200 pounds, mid forties, dark hair. He was wearing sweat pants, a checked coat and a camouflage baseball cap.

Lumsden RCMP is seeking help in order to identify the person responsible for the theft. If you have information about this or any other crime, please contact Lumsden Detachment at 306-731-4270 or you may call Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), through Sask-Tel at *8477, or submit a tip online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com where you can also view information on other unsolved crimes.
