White City RCMP
This evening at approximately 8:45 pm, members of the White Butte RCMP detachment responded to a collision involving a train and a semi-trailer. The collision occurred at the rail crossing located at the Pinkie Road & 13th Avenue, just west of the city of Regina, SK. The driver of the truck, an adult male, was taken to hospital in Regina for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. No one on the train was hurt.
White Butte RCMP are still on the scene investigating the collision. The crash site has not yet been cleared, and motorists are directed to take alternate routes of travel. White Butte RCMP will advise when traffic has been fully restored.
Assisting at the scene are members of the Regina Police Service, Lumsden RCMP, Regina Fire department and other first responders.
On 2013-12-19 at 8:35 a.m. Humboldt RCMP received a report of a suspicious person in the area of the St. Dominic Elementary School in Humboldt. The report came in from the school from a grade 3 student, who had walked to school. He told staff that he had saw a man trying to break into a residence a couple blocks from the school. The school called police and went into lock down as a precaution.
Police investigated the matter and determined that there was no break in attempted and there was no safety concerns for the school. The lock down was suspended after approximately 1 hour.
Deschambault Lake RCMP
On Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at approximately 6:00 p.m., Deschambault Lake RCMP was called to a residence in Deschambault Lake, SK to a complaint of a home invasion.
Three male suspects broke into a residence in Deschambault Lake and assaulted two victims with a pellet gun. One victim fled the residence and went to the residence next door. The suspects followed the victim and were met by a third victim, who was stabbed in the arm in an attempt to block the suspect’s entry.
RCMP attended and saw that the first residence was on fire and one male victim was suffering from stab wounds to their arm.
The victim with stab wounds was stabilized by medical staff at the Deschambault Lake Clinic and transported to Flin Flon Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. The residence that was on fire was completely destroyed and the fire is considered suspicious.
With assistance from the public, Deschambault Lake RCMP located, arrested and charged three suspects who appeared in Deschambault Lake Provincial Court on Wednesday, December 18, 2013:
· One suspect cannot be identified due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
· 20 year old Zachary Ballantyne of Deschambault Lake is charged with break and enter x 2 and aggravated assault.
· 21 year old Colin Ray Ballantyne of Deschambault Lake is charged with break and enter x 2, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and breaches of his probation.
The next court appearance for one youth, Zachary Ballantyne and Colin Ballantyne is Monday, December 23, 2013 in La Ronge Provincial Court.
It appears that the suspects and victims are known to each other. Deschambault Lake RCMP is continuing its investigation and would like to thank the public for their assistance.

Cut Knife RCMP
Between the hours of 1 and 7 a.m. on December 5th, 2013 a Blue Polaris Switchback snowmobile with customized highrise handlebars and a CNC'd tunnel was stolen from a yard near Marsden Saskatchewan. The snowmobile was taken from the yard and loaded onto a truck or trailer. It appears as though a winch or another piece of equipment was used to lift the snowmobile in order to carry out the theft.
On the same night near Baldwinton Saskatchewan two vehicles entered a farmyard property and fuelled up prior to leaving. A quantity of gasoline was stolen from the farm tanks during this incident.

RCMP members have finished their work at the scene of this collision and the tractor trailer has been removed. Traffic is no longer being delayed in this area.

920am - License plate stolen off a vehicle parked on 1000 block of 107th Street some time overnight.
317pm - 32 year old man arrested after turning himself in on outstanding warrants. Released for court date in new year.
506pm - Report of an Assault on St. Laurent Drive. Victim with minor injuries. Suspect identified to members, matter under investigation.
543pm - Unwanted person reported in residence on 105th Street. Subject no longer there when checked.
822pm - Two vehicle collision at 11th Avenue and 100th Street. No injuries, one vehicle had to be towed from scene. Cause of collision still under investigation. No determination on charges yet made.
831pm - Complaint of Criminal Harassment made. Investigation ongoing.
1250am - 911 call of an assault at a residence on 108th Street. Alleged victim did not wish to cooperate with police. No injuries or signs of struggle noted by responding members.
120am - 911 call of an unknown, intoxicated male knocking at a house door on 102nd Street. 40 year old male located and arrested for being intoxicated in public, held in custody until sober.
153am - 911 call of two unwanted guests at a residence on Diefenbaker Drive refusing to leave. 20 year old woman and a 48 year old man arrested at residence for being unlawfully in a dwelling and held in custody until sober. No charges pursued.
315am - 23 year old man arrested on 101st street for outstanding warrants from Saskatoon. Released for court date in Saskatoon in the new year.
Maple Creek RCMP
On Thursday December 19, 2013 Maple Creek RCMP were called to tractor trailer that had gone off road on Highway 1, approximately 5 miles west of Piapot.
Maple Creek RCMP are currently on scene and investigating the cause of the incident, however, the tractor trailer is partially blocking one eastbound lane. The highway is not closed, however, motorists should expect delays. Maple Creek RCMP will advise when traffic has been fully restored.
