La Ronge RCMP
Yesterday, the autopsy was completed on the human remains which were found on November 27, 2013 near Sucker River in northern Saskatchewan. Autopsy results confirmed that the body was that of Jodi Roberts (24 yrs old) from Sucker River, Saskatchewan.
The autopsy was also able to determine that Jodi Roberts did not die from natural causes and her death is now the subject of a homicide investigation. The RCMP Major Crimes North Unit along with the La Ronge RCMP are continuing their investigation into this matter. Charges have not been laid in relation to this investigation and the RCMP do not have anyone in custody.

Approximately 30 reports/occurrences.
1157am - Two vehicle collision in Frontier Mall Parking Lot. No injuries, one vehicle needed to be towed from scene.
200pm - Report of two males fighting on 1100 block of 101st Street. Subjects left prior to police arriving and were not located.
320pm - Report of two intoxicated males bothering people on 1100 block of 101st Street.
436pm - Report of assault at a residence on 1500 block of 106th Street. 46 year old woman arrested on scene for Assault. Victim suffered a bite wound and required some medical attention. Suspect later released from custody, charges pending. Suspect and Victim are known to each other.
456pm - Two intoxicated and unwanted persons at a residence on 900 block of 110th Street. A 37 year old male and a 33 year old female arrested on scene for mischief and held in custody until sober after refusing to leave when asked.
512pm- Wallet stolen from vehicle parked on 1400 block of 107th Street some time during previous evening.
625pm- 39 year old male arrested for mischief after complaint of unwanted intoxicated male at a residence on 900 block of 110th Street.
644pm - Intoxicated male reported walking in the middle of the street on 1000 block of 102nd Street. Then reported laying down in the middle of the street. Then arrested and held in custody until sober.
647pm - Call to residence on 1300 block of 98th Street on report of an Assault. A 42 year old male was arrested on scene and will appear in North Battleford Provincial Court at 930am on Tuesday December 3rd charged with one count of Assault. A second 39 year old male was also arrested on scene as an unwanted, intoxicated guest and held in custody until sober, before being released without charges. All subjects involved known to each other.
753pm - Report of an injured male coming into a licensed premise on 900 block of 101st Street. A 25 year old male was located and found to be on a Conditional Sentence Order which included not to consume alcohol. Arrested and to appear in court Tuesday December 3rd at 930am. Had some minor injuries consistent with assault but would not cooperate with any investigation. A second male, 67, was also arrested on scene for public intoxicated and held in custody until sober.
816pm - 14 year old youth reported missing from care home. Returned to home approximately one hour later.
822pm - 30 year old male arrested for public intoxication on 900 block of 103rd Street after complaint. Later released facing charges under Liquor Act.
125am - Report of loud party/fighting at residence on 1600 block of 107th Street. 31 year old male was arrested on scene for Mischief, causing problems in the residence. No charges pursued and held in custody until sober.
239am - Male caller advising he was armed and hearing voices. 28 year old male located without issue, not armed and transported to Hospital for assessment.
