We Day

Nineteen students from Arthur Pechey School are heading to Saskatoon on Wednesday for a conference with 15,000 other young people during the We Day conference. The annual youth empowerment initiative is organized by the non-profit Free The Children. It happens across the country and is built on the idea of inspiring young people to take action on local and global issues. Above, most of the youth who are going and two of the three teachers huddle together in a classroom on Tuesday afternoon.
