Meeka had been spotted hanging out by the off ramp of the John Diefenbaker Bridge for several days before someone was finally able to catch her on May 20. She is a very quiet and sweet young lady who rarely makes a peep and gets along very well with other dogs. Our volunteers say they feel she was most likely dumped as every time they are walking her and a car passes she watches it intently - not in a wanting to chase it mode but as if she is searching for her family. We feel Meeka would do very well with any family and she is house trained, up to date with routine vaccinations, micro chipped, spayed and is roughly 1 1/2 years old. If you would like to meet Meeka please come and visit her at 680 Exhibition Drive or call our Animal Care Center at 1-306-763-6110 for more information.
