Hritziuk easily wins top prize at PAGCC cash spiel

Saskatoon Eugene Hritziuk cruised to the top prize at the annual Prince Albert Golf and Curling Club cash spiel on the weekend when he capped off a perfect weekend with a 7-0 triumph over Ian Mayoh in the championship final. Hritziuk and his rink of Ig Baranieski, Verne Anderson and Dave Folk pocketed $1000 for the win and will use the event as preparation for an international bonspiel in Seattle. The former provincial men's and senior men's champion, advanced to the final with a win over Corey Martens while Mayoh got past Pet Rieben in the other semifinal. Mayoh took home $600 for his runner-up finish.
