Heart to Heart Teatime for Africa

Published on January 16, 2013
Kazuri jewelry will be on sale during the Heart to Heart Tea fundraiser being held by Prince Albert's Grandmothers for Grandmothers. Teatime will be held on Saturday February 16 at 2 p.m. at the Mann Art Gallery. Tea and granny-made dainties will be served while the local group The Menfolk performs music. The jewelry is handmade by artisans in Kenya and all the funds raised by their sale will be split 50/50 between those artists and grandmothers for grandmothers initiatives in Sub-Saharan Africa. Kazuri means “small and beautiful’ in Swahili. Heart to Heart Tea tickets are for sale for $10 at Beth's Yarn Shop at 909A Central Avenue, 764-6910 or via Edith at 764-4588.
