Canonization of St. Kateri Tekakwitha

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Prince Albert celebrated the canonization of Kateri Tekakwitha on Sunday at the Sacred Heart Cathedral. Tekakwitha was born in 1656 and died at just 24 years old. She is the first Native American to be recognized as a saint by the Church.
