atchewan health officials insist private companies won't be dipping into the limited supply of swine flu vaccine.
Dr. Saqib Shahab, the province's deputy chief medical health officer, says the vaccine is only being delivered through public health to targeted high-risk groups.
Those groups currently include pregnant women, women who gave birth within the last four weeks, young children and health-care workers.
Shahab says there may come a time when companies can have employees vaccinated, just like they do for seasonal flu clinics.
But he says that would only happen once the vaccine is available to the general public and when there's enough to go around.
Shahab stresses “that time has not come yet.”
