City Police have released video images of a woman suspected of giving birth in a Wal-Mart bathroom and then abandoning her baby.

In the first of three video images from the police, the women is shown entering the Wal-Mart Store at 5:05 p.m

The woman appears to be a height of between five-feet and five-foot-three and wearing a dark three-quarter-length jacket and light pants, says a press release from City Police.

Close examination of the video images show that there may be a white or light colored emblem or lettering just below the collar on the back of the jacket.

In another image, the unknown mother is seen exiting the woman's washroom and leaving the store at 5:19 p.m.

It appears in the surveillance video that the mother was in the store alone. However, police say it is possible that she had assistance outside of the store.

Although police have received and investigated some tips, they have not been able to identify the unknown mother at this time.

Police are asking the assistance of the public and hope that the surveillance video will assist in identifying the mother.

Any tips can be called in to 953-4222 or anonymous tips can be called into Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
