In what could be the last contest they can afford to lose, the Prince Albert Raiders fell 6-3 to the Moose  Jaw Warriors on Tuesday at Mosaic Place.

With a chance for his team to establish a grip on the Eastern Conference's seventh playoff seed, Raiders rookie backstop Nick McBride surrendered a pair of goals in the second and third periods as the Raiders four-game win streak came to an end.

With the loss and a 8-5 Brandon Wheat Kings win over the Saskatoon Blades, the Raiders sit tied for the conference's eighth and final playoff spot, knotted up at 71 points with the Red Deer Rebels as both clubs post identical records of 33-31-5.

Warriors centre Brayden Point's reign of terror over the Raiders continued on Tuesday, posting a trio of assists to bring his point total against his East Division rivals this season up to 16.

The Warriors struck first three minutes into the game with a marker by defenceman Jesse Forsberg before Draisaitl struck back just over four minutes later with his 36th of the season.

As he continues to mesh well with Draisaitl on the Raiders top line, left wing Collin Valcourt came through to give the Raiders their only lead of the game, netting his second goal in three games to carry a 2-1 advantage into the second period.

Working on a power play exactly one minute into the second frame, Point fed right wing Jack Rodewald  who netted his 26th of the season before scoring his 27th over ten minutes later, again with a feed from Point.

Just over a minute after Rodewald's second of the night, Raiders defenceman Josh Morrissey ripped a shot over the glove of Warriors goalie Zach Sawchenko to carry a 3-3 tie into the third period.

Two minutes into the third frame, the Warriors regained the lead and would not look back as Forsberg netted his second of the night on a power play.

With Forsberg's 10th goal of the season standing as the game-winner, left wing Tanner Eberle added an insurance marker midway through the third period before sliding his second of the night into an empty net to clinch the Warriors fourth-straight win.

The Raiders will look to bounce back as they continue their hunt for a playoff spot on Wednesday, taking on the Regina Pats at the Brandt Centre.
