Another weekend, another honour for Carsen Chubak.
The Prince Albert product, who tends goal for the Niagara University Purple Eagles, has been named Atlantic Hockey Association Goalie of the Week for the fourth week in a row and fifth time this season.
Chubak and the Purple Eagles beat the Canisius University Golden Griffins 2-1 on Friday and the Robert Morris University Colonials 3-0.
He made 31 saves on Friday and 43 in the shutout on Saturday, one shy of his career record.
His home rink shutout streak now stands at nearly 206 minutes.
Chubak is 8-1-3 on the season with a microscopic 0.99 goals against average and a save percentage of .970.
The Purple Eagles are now ranked 20th overall in Division 1 NCAA hockey with an overall record of 8-2-3, including winning all seven games in conference.
The team has a weekend off before returning to action against the Sacred Heart Pioneers on Nov. 29-30.
