The Prince Albert Mintos will be taking a two-game winning streak into their Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League game against the Yorkton Harvest on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Art Hauser Centre.
The Mintos, who are 5-2-1 on the season, are undefeated on home ice having won three and tying another in four starts.
On the road, they are 2-2-0 including a 3-1 triumph over the Battlefords Stars on Thursday. Lochlan Morrison, Kylar Hope and Justin Boyer scored for Prince Albert in the win over the Stars with Lane Michasiw turning aside 24 shots to pick up his second win in the Prince Albert goal.
Yorkton entered the weekend with just one win and an overtime loss in their first eight games, but they had a date in Beardy’s tonight before heading to Prince Albert. Beardy’s has yet to post a win this season having just an overtime loss to their credit in nine games.
Prince Albert will have one more home game on Thursday against the Saskatoon Blazers before they take to the road for seven straight. During that time they will make three separate trips into the South Division.
