--PRINCE ALBERT-- Escaping Saskatoon with a 17-15 victory over Tommy Douglas High School, the Carlton Crusaders football team returned to Prince Albert with their perfect three-game start intact.
In the dying minutes of the scrappy tilt, the Crusaders were able to march down the field to punctuate their winning performance with a last-gasp touchdown.
Crusaders’ receiver Aaron Jensen caught a 35-yard reception to put the away side within crawling distance of the goal line.
On the last play of the game, Jordan Gabriel-Cannon punched it in from one yard out to snatch victory.
The Crusaders, after going winless in the previous campaign, have won three games on the trot, and sit atop the tables with a 3-0 record.
