The Saskatchewan Rivers Dragons wrapped up their 2014 season with an awards banquet on Monday at Carlton Comprehensive High School. After a 3-3 regular season, the Dragons entered the first round of the Northern Saskatchewan Rugby Union playoffs in Saskatoon on Saturday to take on the Springboks, losing 12-10 as they were relegated to the bronze medal match. In the bronze medal match, the Dragons trounced Lashburn 36-5 to collect the team's second straight medal in the NSRU playoffs.
