Slo-pitch league spring tourney

The Prince Albert Slo-Pitch League held its annual Spring Tournament on the weekend with more than 60 teams taking to the diamonds at the Downtown Lions Ball Park in Little Red River Park. The Yardmonkeys beat the Brewdawgs to claim the Men’s Division title while the Tippy Canoes outslugged the Swallows 19-10 in the Co-Ed Division 1 championship game. The Knights edged the Blue Jays 12-10 in the Co-Ed Division 2 final, the Bees blasted One Trick Pony 17-5 in the Co-Ed Division 3 finale and the Bottleboys got past Hit N Run to capture the Co-Ed Division 4 banner. Shown in the photo is Kaitlin Willoughby of the Tippy Canoes taking a swing at the ball during the Co-Ed Division 1 final on Sunday.
