Competitors for the Canada Cup archery championship got in some practise rounds on Friday at the Prince Albert Wildlife Federation range north of the city. Competitions will be held all weekend beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
The Prince Albert Timberlands Bowbenders Archery Club is hosting the 2014 Canada Cup championship this weekend at the Prince Albert Wildlife Federation range north of the city. There are 10 competitors in the recurve discipline and 48 more in the compound bow category with shooters coming from right across Canada to compete in the event. Ranking rounds will be held all day Saturday at the range beginning at 9 a.m. with elimination rounds taking place on Sunday, also starting at 9 a.m. A number of local competitors are entered in the event and they joined a large number of the participants for a practise round on Friday.
