North Sask. Volleyball Club wins provincial gold

The Prince Albert North Sask. Volleyball Club successfully defended its U17 boy's provincial championship when they got past the Saskatoon Junior Huskies 25-22, 25-23 in the gold-medal game of the Saskatchewan Volleyball Association championships held in Saskatoon on Sunday. The Prince Albert North Sask. Volleyball Club joined the U18 Smashing Bananas as provincial champions from Prince Albert with the Prince Albert Optimist Toppers Peligro (U17 girls), Prince Albert Optimist En Fuego (U18 girls), Prince Albert Fusion (U18 girls) and U16 Smashing Bananas (U18 boys) also competing in the various divisions and turning in strong performances.
