The Prince Albert Sharks swim club continue to make great strides in their development with the Manitoba/Saskatchewan Provincial meet on the horizon.

After a successful meet in Edmonton in January, the Sharks returned home on Monday from the Little Caesars Winter Classic in Saskatoon, again with favourable results.

Shark Nachelle Spademan swam to a trio of first place finishes while Brayden Hurl finished first in the 400m individual medley event.

While Spademan and Hurl reached the podium, several other Sharks achieved A and AA qualifying times.

The Sharks will be hosting a provincial meet on Feb. 28 to March 2 in preparation for the big Man/Sask meet March 13-16 in Winnipeg.
