Aerials heading to Winter Games

The walls have been freshly painted, alterations to the layout of their facility are near completion and the Prince Albert Aerials Gymnastics Club has nine members who have qualified for the Lakeland District team that will compete at the 2014 Saskatchewan Winter Games next month in Prince Albert. The local club, which trains out of the High Noon Optimist Centre, has been busy getting ready for the major competition which will feature men's and women's artistic gymnastics along with trampoline and tumbling events when that portion of the Games is staged from Feb. 19-22. Shown in the photo are the local gymnasts who have qualified for the Games. Front row, from left, Carter Boden, Jessie Georget and Benjamin Graner. Middle row, from left, are Madelyn Antaya, Dilynn Belle, Shelaine Pritchard, Lexis Storoschuk and Samantha Caisse (lone trampoline and tumbling competitor).
