The football season in Prince Albert officially came to a close on Friday when the St. Mary Marauders were defeated 50-28 by the Centennial Chargers in Saskatoon High School Football League quarter-final action at Gordie Howe Bowl in Saskatoon.
Kolton Oftedal and Bryant Sackney each scored a pair of touchdowns for the Marauders.
The Marauders were the last team standing after the Carlton Crusaders fell in their quarter-final tilt to Walter Murray on Thursday.
Both River Rider teams completed their seasons on Wednesday as they participated in the pee wee and bantam relegation bowls in Saskatoon.
It was a season of highs and lows for all four teams, but one thing was constant – they all provided an exciting brand of football.
