The Prince Albert Aerials Gymnastics Club had another strong showing at a competition held in Saskatoon last weekend with 16 members of the female artistic gymnastics team capturing a total of 47 medals. Among those 16 competitors, three achieved the necessary score required to represent Saskatchewan at the Western Canadian championships scheduled for Winnipeg in early May. For Kelsey Hurl it will be her third trip to westerns while Hayden Gratias is returning for a second time and Serra Gillis is to make her debut at the Western Canadian level. The competition in Saskatoon also served as a qualifier for the provincial championships to be held in Lloydminster on April 19 with all but a couple of the local team attaining the level required to compete at the provincial event. Those members are expected to reach qualification status at one final pre-provincial meet in Yorkton early in April. Also at the meet in Saskatoon, Brent Ertman made Team Saskatchewan for the trampoline and tumbling competitions and he will be competing at the Alberta provincials in the near future.
