Several local hockey teams will be in action this weekend as they continue their quest to bring home Saskatchewan Hockey Association provincial championships.

In Bantam III action, the Prince Albert Rangers face the Saskatoon Redwing Roughnecks at noon on Saturday at the Kinsmen Arena with the Bantam II contest between the Prince Albert Rebels and Saskatoon Wild Outlaws following at 2:45 p.m., also at the Kinsmen Arena.

On Sunday it will be the Prince Albert Gene’s Sports Canadians facing the Saskatoon Renegade Outlaws in a Pee Wee III tilt at 11:45 a.m. at the Kinsmen Arena followed by the Pee Wee II match between the Saskatoon Viper Aces at 2:30 p.m., once again at the Kinsmen Arena.

All games are the first of two-game, total-goal affairs with the return matches in Saskatoon to take place next weekend. The winners of each series will then advance to the provincial finals against a southern representative with those contests to be played later in March.
