The Prince Albert Sharks Swim club gobbled up 60 medals in Battleford’s ORCAS Winter Sprint last weekend.
The competition provided the 26 Sharks who hit the water an opportunity to gain entry times for this year’s Man Sask provincial championship, and also the Sask "A" provincial championship and Junior Cup that Prince Albert will host in March.
Kendall Horan, 14, achieved four provincial AA times while Reid Boden, 13, swam to two provincial AA qualifying times.
Most club members achieved their A times.
Among the individual highlights:
• Shelby Long -- Two second place finishes, three third place finishes.
• Reid Boden --Two firsts, one third.
• Kendall Horan -- Four firsts, two seconds.
• Brayden Hurl -- Four firsts, two seconds.
• Alexandre Michaud -- Two firsts, three seconds.
• Nachelle Saapdeman -- One first, three seconds, one third.
• Ausrin Henirich -- One first, two seconds.
• Emma Kress -- Two firsts, two seconds.
• Tristan Anderson -- Two seconds.
• Julie Lasron -- One second.
• Cassidy Lofstorm -- Two thirds.
• Robert Holtom -- Three thirds.
• Dominic Michaud -- Two thirds.
The men’s 14-15-year-old relay team (Reid Boden, Tristan Anderson, Dominic Michaud and Alexandre Michaud) finished first in the 200 freestyle.
The women’s 13-14-year-old relay team (Kendall Horan, Emma Kress, Cassidy Lofstorm and Shelby Long) finished first in the 200 freestyle relay and third in the 200 medley relay.
