Gratias tops in the vault at national competition

Local gymnast Hayden Gratias placed 11th overall during a national event in Edmonton over the weekend.

Gratias, a member of the Prince Albert Aerials, was competing in the Provincial 5 (13 & Over) at the National Stream Cup. The event was captured by Saskatoon gymnast Kamila Wyszomirski.

Gratias captured an overall score of 46.900. She placed first in the vault (13.800), 13th in the asymmetric bars (10.400), 19th in the balance beam (9.500) and second in the floor exercises (13.200).

There were 22 athletes competing in her category.
