Cheers -- To all the hockey officials who worked very hard this weekend. These youngsters worked multiple games this weekend to make sure that the Snake Lake tournament was a success. These kids take their job seriously and do the best they can.
Jeers -- To the fans that forget these are just kids referring. There were some as young as 10 and the oldest was 15. Most people don’t have 50 fans yelling at you when you make a mistake at work.

Cheers -- My most grateful thanks to Adrienne, who stopped to ask if she could help after my car stalled at a stop sign on 12th Avenue and Fourth Street East. She was driving her child, but nevertheless offered to take me back to my home so that I could call CAA for help. Thank you, Adrienne, for rescuing me on a horribly cold day -- you are an angel.
