A precautionary drinking water advisory for the RM of Buckland has been lifted.

Testing found no signs of total coliform bacteria and the Prince Albert Rural Water Utility has taken extra steps to ensure the water is safe.

The advisory was lifted at 4:30 p.m. on Friday after initially being put in place on Tuesday.

The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment put the advisory in place because some lines in the Prince Albert Rural Water Utilities distribution system were depressurized and the safety of the water could not be ensured during maintenance work on the main distribution line.
