Parkland Ambulance Care paramedics made several calls of note over the weekend among their total of 49, including the following, which they included in a weekend roundup press release.

• An 80-year-old woman received minor injuries as a result of an 11:06 a.m. motor vehicle collision at 11th Street and First Avenue East on Sunday. She was taken by ambulance to hospital.

• Minor injuries were reported following at about 9:30 a.m. assault in the 1200 block of First Avenue West. A man was taken by ambulance to hospital.

• Two people were taken by ambulance to hospital in good condition following a 6:30 p.m. motor vehicle collision at Montreal Lake Reserve on Saturday. Two people were injured, including a 19-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman.

• An assault resulted in minor injuries to a woman in the 500 block of River Street at about 9 p.m. on Saturday. She was taken by ambulance to hospital.

• A pedestrian as struck by a vehicle in the 3100 block of Second Avenue West on Saturday at about 4 p.m. A 27-year-old man was taken by ambulance to hospital in good condition.

•  A 49-year-old woman was treated for minor injuries following a 5:15 a.m. assault on Saturday in the 1200 block of 16th Street West. She was taken by ambulance to hospital.

• The 500 block of Sixth Street East was the scene of an early morning assault on Saturday, with a 36-year-old man treated for injuries and taken to hospital in good condition at about 4 a.m.

• Minor injuries were reported in an assault at about 2:15 a.m. in the 3200 block of Second Avenue West, wherein a 49-year-old woman was taken to hospital.
