Police report “several” break-and-enters

Coming out of a weekend of several reported break and enters, city police are cautioning the public to take precautions prior to leaving one’s residence.



Have someone watch your home, police caution. Install locks or security systems, consider visibility factors to make sure your property is not concealed by trees or shrubs, keep your valuables safe and get to know your neighbours.

Police are encouraging anyone who notes suspicious activity to call them at 306-953-4222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Police report 217 calls over the weekend, consisting of 47 arrests, of which 25 were for public intoxication.
