City pair faces variety of drug charges

Two Prince Albert residents face drug charges after a warrant was served on a home at the Whispering Pines trailer park on Wednesday.

The Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team arrested three people without incident during a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation.

Police seized 29 individually wrapped packages of cocaine, 19 syringes loaded with cocaine, a small amount of Canadian currency and a 1996 Mercury Sable station wagon.

Brittney Ledoux, 24, has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking cocaine, possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000 and possession of Hydromorphone.

Julian Ganton-Henderson, 28, has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking cocaine, possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000 and possession of Hydromorphone.

Both were remanded in custody and scheduled to make their next court appearance on Friday in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
