City of Prince Albert officials are advising all users of the city's water system not to be concerned about a recent change in the treated water supply. Some people are noticing an increased taste and odor.
The change is a result of the recent warm weather and decreasing water flows which has increased the amount of organics present in the water from the river.
Officials are noting these changes are normal and that Prince Albert's water supply remains safe for all users.
In response to the changing water in the river, the water treatment process is being optimized which is expected to improve water quality in the next few days.
