Three teens charged after theft from vehicle complaint

A trio of teens are facing charges after police responded to a complaint of a theft from a vehicle early on Sunday.

Patrol members arrived in the east hill area at approximately 4:45 a.m. after receiving the complaint. Upon further investigation, the officers found and arrested three young offenders.

A 16-year-old male has been charged with possession of stolen property and possession of break-in-tools, while an additional charge of break and enter has also been laid.

A 15-year-old male has been charged with breaching his court-ordered conditions, while a 14-year-old male was charged with possession of stolen property.

Police remind the public to lock vehicle doors when parking and to remove or hide any items of value.
