Extremely busy weekend for Parkland Ambulance

As of Sunday at 1 p.m., Parkland Ambulance responded to 86 incidents. Of those, some of note are:

Parkland Ambulance

• At 11:27 p.m. on Friday, paramedics responded to an assault in the 1400 block of Sixth Avenue West. Paramedics cared for a 28-year-old male with minor injuries who was taken to hospital for further care.

• At 11:43 p.m. on Friday, paramedics responded to an assault on the Exhibition Grounds. Paramedics cared for a 20-year-old female with minor injuries who was taken to hospital for further care.

• At 1:27 a.m. on Saturday, paramedics responded to an assault on the Muskoday Reserve. Paramedics cared for a 50-year-old female with minor injuries who was taken to hospital for further care.

• At 2:17 a.m. on Saturday, paramedics responded to an assault in the 1300 block of Second Avenue West for a 22-year-old male who was assaulted. Paramedics cared for the male with minor injuries and he was taken to hospital for further care.

• At 2:36 a.m. on Saturday, paramedics responded to an assault in the 900 block of Third Avenue East. Paramedics cared for a 40-year-old male with injuries who was taken to hospital in good condition for further care.

• At 6:38 a.m. on Saturday, paramedics responded to an assault in the 900 block of Second Street East. Paramedics cared for a male with serious injuries who was taken by ambulance to hospital for further care. The male remains in hospital in good and stable condition as of noon on Sunday.

• At 12:23 p.m. on Saturday, paramedics responded to a motor vehicle collision in the south bound lane of the Diefenbaker Bridge. Paramedics cared for a 62-year-old female with injuries who was taken by ambulance to hospital in good condition for further care and a 44-year-old male at scene who was not transported to hospital.

• At 6:12 p.m. on Saturday, paramedics responded to a motor vehicle collision at 22nd Street and Fifth Avenue East. Paramedics cared for a 44-year-old male with injuries and he was taken to hospital in good condition for further care and a18-year-old male at scene who was not transported to hospital.

• At 6:55 p.m. on Saturday, paramedics responded to an assault in the 100 block of 16th Street West. Paramedics cared for a 32-year-old male with minor injuries and he was taken to hospital for further care.

• At 7:09 on Saturday, paramedics responded to an assault in the 1200 block of 17th Street West. Paramedics cared for a 30-year-old male with injuries who was taken to hospital in good condition for further care.

• At 10:27 p.m. Saturday, paramedics responded to an assault in the 1000 block of Central Avenue for a 46-year-old female who was injured. Paramedics cared for the female with minor injuries and she was taken to hospital for further care.

• At 11:46 p.m. on Saturday, paramedics responded to an assault in the 600 block of 32nd Street West. Paramedics cared for a male with minor injuries who was taken to hospital for further care.

• At 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, paramedics responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway 2 North near North Side. Paramedics cared for a 38-year-old female, two-year-old female, 19-year-old male and 18-year-old female all with injuries were taken to hospital all in good condition for further care. Paramedics also cared for a 49-year-old male and 24-year-old male at the scene but were not taken to hospital.

• At 4:09 a.m. on Sunday, paramedics responded to an assault in 3500 block of Second Avenue West. Paramedics cared for a 26-year-old male and 28-year-old male, both with minor injuries who were taken to hospital for further care.

• At 1:28 a.m. on Monday, paramedics responded to an assault in the 800 block of First Avenue East. Paramedics cared for a 27-year-old male with minor injuries and he was taken paramedics to hospital for further care.
