To help reduce crime in the city, Prince Albert Police Service walked the beat downtown.

On Thursday, the Prince Albert Police Service Criminal Investigation Division conducted an enforcement initiative, focusing on the downtown core and Cornerstone.

During the initiative, the officers did several walkthroughs at businesses and establishments.

Police would like to thank the owners and staff for their assistance in the initiative.

The plainclothes members made four arrests, including charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Breach of Conditional Sentence Order, Breach of Undertaking, and Breach of Recognizance.

They also issued seven summary offence tickets for various Alcohol and Gaming Regulation Act and bylaw offences.
