Bike stolen after suspect threatens to use bear spray

Police are on the lookout for a male suspect after a 15-year-old reported having his bike robbed on Thursday.

Patrol members were dispatched to the 700 block of 32nd Street East at 8:35 p.m. after receiving a complaint of a robbery.

On arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who told police that another male had approached him, threatened him with bear spray and demanded his bike.

The victim gave up his bike before the suspect fled the scene. Though shaken up, the victim was unhurt.

The male suspect was wearing a black and white bunny hug with jeans at the time. The bike is described as BMX-style with a blue frame, forks and bars with red hand grips.
