A woman is facing charges after a boy was struck by a car on Thursday.
Prince Albert police initially responded at 8:05 p.m. to a report of a person being struck by a car at Sixth Street and Eighth Avenue.
Upon arrival, police found a seven-year-old boy at the scene who was being cared for by Parkland Ambulance. The boy was taken to the Victoria Union Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses were spoken to at the scene. As a result, a 23-year-old woman has been charged with driving at a speed greater than reasonable and safe under the Traffic Safety Act.
