On Sunday at 2:20 a.m., Prince Albert Police Service members responded to a complaint of stabbing in the 500 block of 13th Street West.

Before arriving on the scene, police were informed the suspect had fled on foot. On scene, an 18-year-old female was suffering from non-threatening injuries to her arm.

Police were informed the suspect had come over to borrow cigarettes leading to an argument, which escalated into a fight.

At the residence, police were given information leading them to the 500 block of 12th Street West where they arrested a 28-year-old female for assault with a weapon and two counts of breach of recognizance. A 32-year-old male is also charged with uttering threats. Both are set to appear at Prince Albert Provincial Court on mid-July.
